Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply to the Bitcalc app, built by CryptoColor. By downloading or using Bitcalc, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The App
Bitcalc is a calculator for cryptocurrency and fiat currency. It shows conversion rates and lets you run calculations with them. You may use it on any device you own that supports it.
Bitcalc is free to download. Some features are available only with a subscription, and users without a subscription see advertisements.
Subscription Terms
Bitcalc offers a single subscription product: $9.99 every 3 months, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- The subscription renews automatically every 3 months until you cancel it.
- If you start the free trial, you are not charged for the first 7 days. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and the first charge is taken automatically.
- Each renewal is charged to your store account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where the store requires this.
- Prices are shown in your local currency in the app and may vary by region. We may change the price in the future; if we do, the change applies from your next renewal and the store will ask you to confirm it.
Billing and Cancellation
All billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you downloaded Bitcalc. We do not process payments and we cannot charge you directly.
You cancel through your store account, not through us. Open your subscription settings in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions) and turn off renewal there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or the next renewal will still go through.
After you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We have no ability to cancel a subscription on your behalf.
Refunds
Because Apple and Google handle all payments, refunds are handled by them too. We cannot issue a refund directly.
To request one, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page or Google Play's refund request flow. Their refund policies apply. If you think something in the app went wrong, contact us anyway — we cannot refund you, but we can help fix the problem or explain what happened.
Not Financial Advice
Bitcalc provides currency rate information for informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, trading, or legal advice, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
Cryptocurrency and currency markets are volatile and you can lose money in them. Any decision you make based on information in the app is your own. Please consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Rate Data and Availability
Exchange rates and market data in Bitcalc are obtained from third-party sources. We pass that data through; we do not produce it.
We do not guarantee that this data is accurate, complete, current, or continuously available. Rates may be delayed, may differ from the rate you would actually get from an exchange or a bank, and may be unavailable if a provider has an outage. The app may also be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Acceptable Use
When using Bitcalc, you agree not to:
- use the app for anything unlawful, or in breach of any regulation that applies to you
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the rate data provided through the app, or use the app to build a competing service
- interfere with the app's operation, bypass its ads or subscription checks, or overload the services it depends on
- use automated systems to access the app in a way that disrupts it for others
We may stop providing the app to you if you break these rules. Your rights under consumer law are not affected.
Limitation of Liability
Bitcalc is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for any financial loss, lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, from decisions made on the basis of rate information in it, or from the app being inaccurate or unavailable. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and this section does not affect the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when the app changes or the law does. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Bitcalc after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change affects your subscription price, the store will ask you to confirm it separately.
